Comrades Weather: outlook fine, says Durban weathermen

WONDERING what the weather will be like on the day of the Comrades Marathon? Just cast your mind back to yesterday.

Runners will be pleased to hear that the SA Weather Ser-vices has predicted conditions very similar to yesterday’s fine weather for the day of the race.

In fact, it may even be a tad better.

AcKcording to the Durban weather office, there is a 50% chance of weather returning to the conditions experienced yesterday in both Pietermaritzburg and Durban.

The temperature will peak at 24°C, while Pietermaritzburg — where the down run will startat 5.30 am — can expect a warmer morning than yesterday.

The weather service said Durban can expect some cloud cover on Sunday afternoon.
