Concert: Katie Melau in Durban

Katie Melua (pictured) at the press conference held at Primedia in Sandton, Johannesburg, this week. Melua, one of Britain’s most successful female singer-songwriters, is to perform with her band tonight at Durban’s International Convention Centre.

The venue seats 10 000 and there are still tickets available from Computicket, which range from R261 to R371.

Disabled platform tickets are available only through Computicket stores or the Call Centre (083 915 8000). Doors open at 7 pm and the concert starts at 8 pm with South African female artist Melanie Lowe performing a 30-minute set. Melua will perform from 9 pm for an hour and 30 minutes.
