Convention: Deaf people welcome

THE 2012 District Convention of Jehovah’s Witness will take place from October 26 to 28.

Deaf people in KZN will be delegates at the convention along with other people from around the world. There will also be conventions held in South African Sign Language (SASL), which is the first language of an estimated 500 000 to 600 000 deaf South Africans. It will feature a variety of talks, symposiums, videos and other media.

Admission to the convention is free and no collections will be taken. Any deaf or hard of hearing persons wanting to attend are welcome and may contact News Service on 083 271 2923 for further information, or visit
