Cricket: SA Emerging players team announced

The convener, Joubert Strydom and the national selection Panel today announced the names of the 23-member squad that will attend this year’s Standard Bank High Performance Programme under the tutelage of the High Performance general manager, Vince van der Bijl.

The players (in alphabetical order) are:

Ahmed Amla (Natal Dolphins), Gulam Bodi (Titans), Loots Bosman (Free State Eagles), Johan Botha (E Cape Warriors), Henry Davids (Cape Cobras), Dillon du Preez (Eagles), Jean-Paul Duminy (Cobras), Dean Elgar (Eagles), Matthew Harris (Highveld Lions), Imraan Khan (Dolphins), Rory Kleinveldt (Cape Cobras), Heino Kuhn ( Titans), Ethy Mbhalati (Titans), Albie Morkel (Titans), Justin Ontong (Lions), Alviro Petersen (Lions), Robin Peterson (Warriors), Vernon Philander (Cape Cobras), Andrew Puttick (Cobras), Blake Snijman (Lions), Thandi Tshabalala (Eagles), Lonwabo Tsotsobe (Warriors) and Vaughn van Jaarsveld (Lions).
