Diverse line-up for Up the Creek 2012

UP the Creek Music Festival is now officially around the corner, and the dates for 2012 have been set. From February 3 to February 5, the serene surroundings of the river bank will come alive.

The line-up for Up the Creek 2012 includes aKing, Akkedis, Black Cat Bones, Blues Broers, Cameron Bruce, City Bowl Mizers, Fox Comet, Great Apes, Holiday Murray, Hot Water, Karen Zoid, Louwtjie Rothman, Machiniri, No One’s Arc, Piet Botha, Taxi Violence, Wreshrelish, Jeremy Loops, Luna Paige, Shadowclub, Sterling EQ, Andra, Peachy Keen, AC/DC Tribute and Southern Gypsey Queen.

The festival venues include the main stage, the MK river stage and the all-night-long BOS Breede River bar.


Thursday night special early show

In 2011, die-hard creekers got the chance to enjoy a sneak preview of the weekend festivities with an intimate show on the Thursday night. This year we are bringing back the initiative, and on February 2 the gates will open at 4 pm for the first 400 music lovers.

The lucky winner stands to win two free tickets, and the draw will take place on November 30. The winner will be announced on Facebook.
