JONATHAN Roxmouth’s oneman show, Back to Borge, will not be able to tour to Durban as planned, but his fans in KwaZulu-Natal will still be able to see him at the Rhumbelow Theatre from January 22 to 31 in the show In Black & White .

In it, Roxmouth shares a personal, semi-biographical take on showbiz life with the audience through songs, sketches and backstage stories that have held special significance for him.

The programme features his Phantom Of The Opera in 10 Minutes segment and antics inspired by Tom Lehrer, Peter Sellers, Ronnie Barker and Rowan Atkinson.

With songs such as Being Alive, Without A Song and On the Boards, Roxmouth shares his triumphs, flops and dreams with the audience.

In Black and White can be seen at the Rhumbelow Theatre in Durban at 8 pm on January 22, 23, 29 and 30, at 2 pm and 6.30 pm on January 24 and 31. The venue opens 90 minutes before the show for a picnic dinner.

Tickets are R100 and can be booked at Computicket.

• The Rhumbelow has also joined forces with Essential Vibes to present The Best of Ian and Rory, featuring Ian von Memerty and Rory Rootenberg, at Penzance Primary School in Bartle Road, Durban, at 2 pm and 6.30 pm on January 24.

The inimitable music duo will perform highlights from their favourite musicals and other shows, and it is unmissable.

Booking is at Computicket.
