QUEENSBURGH Sports Club hosted the Redman Nominated Doubles Cup on Tuesday, the format being 701, best of three knockout.

The final was a close affair with Tanya Thomas and Tyrone Jordaan sneaking home 3-2 against Tony Fisher and Kevin Brown. Consolation for Brown was his 180 in the final being the only maximum on the night.

A R10 singles open was also played, where Philip Snyman beat Fisher 2-1 in the best of three final.

Next Tuesday (March 25), the Chirpers Drawn Doubles Cup is being played at Hillary Sports Club, plus a R10 singles open competition.

Registration for both events is from 7 pm to 7.15 pm.
