East coast radio: Jocks move around for fresh new line-up

2008-06-23 00:00

East Coast Radio has announced a fresh new DJ line-up from July 1.

“New challenges are added to the shows and our jocks have the opportunity to show off their new tricks,” said programme manager Naveen Singh.

The shows will be filled with new ideas, a new feel and new ways of interacting with listeners.

Weekend jock Neville Pillay moves to the Workzone, 9 am to noon on weekdays. “Neville has truly proved himself over the weekends and has a huge following,” said Singh.

Current morning presenter Dave Guselli moves to the weekend from 6 am to 10 am.

Back is Thandy Kunene, who will be co-hosting the vibrant weekend chart shows with Archie Majola.

A new voice will join the station — Johanne Pillay will co-host the weekday show between 9 pm and midnight with Peter G.
