Elite fitness trainer for women’s brunch

SOUTH African-born author and fitness expert Jenni Rivett will present her latest fitness programme at a Witness brunch at the Golden Horse Casino in Pietermaritzburg on Thursday, August 30.

This year’s edition of the popular annual event is hosted by The Witness in association with Sanlam, uMgungundlovu District Municipality and the Pietermaritzburg Chamber of Business.

Other speakers are Sbu Mpungose, editor of Cosmopolitan, Grey’s Hospital oncologist and NGO worker Dr Thandeka Mazibuko and hijack victim Kavisha Seevnarain.

The event will be compéred by Ingrid Roberts.

Rivett has been a consultant in the UK to the rich and famous for more than a decade. Among her most notable clients have been Diana, the late Princess of Wales, author Jeffrey Archer, actress Elizabeth Hurley, Michael Caine’s wife, Shakira, and the UK’s GMTV morning show host, Lorraine Kelly. Rivett says her programme delivers results in half the time.
