Family take picture of what appears to be alien craft

FOLLOWING a photo of an unidentified flying object (UFO) printed in Monday’s Witness, Gail Etherington of Merrivale e-mailed this photo, taken by her son Ian (17) on May 2 in Mpumalanga province.

“My family and I were travelling back to Howick from Mpumulanga on Monday May 2, and on our way we stopped at Waterval Boven to take a walk to Eland Falls,” Etherington said.

“You have to walk through an old railway tunnel to get to the view site for the falls. Before we entered the tunnel my son Ian took this picture on his cellphone.”

“When he looked at the picture he saw a black spot. He then looked into the sky and could not see anything, and he then took another picture,” she said.

Etherington said on their return home, Ian downloaded the photos onto the computer and “saw the strange image of what we think might be a UFO”. The second image, taken seconds later, shows no sign of the object at all.

“We didn’t see or hear anything. We couldn’t believe it,” she said.

Author and self-described scientific renegade Michael Tellinger is well-known for his often challenging views on the ancient ruins surrounding the area, and said he would not at all be surprised if it is an alien craft.
