A 22-YEAR-OLD man made a brief appearance yesterday at the New Hanover Magistrate’s Court in connection with an attack on a couple on a farm at Harburg on Friday night.

Ayanda Zuma, who was arrested on Monday, was remanded in custody.

His co-accused, a 38-year-old man, was arrested on Tuesday night in Dalton for the attack and robbery of the couple at Boiling Fountain Farm.

He is expected to appear in court shortly.

Police spokesperson Lieutenant Joey Jeevan said that it is alleged that they attacked Nicole Coetzee (44) as she was returning home at night.

When she arrived at the gate, she was confronted by two gunmen who threatened her.

At a later stage when her fiancé, Bruno Muhl (50), came home the accused allegedly shot him.
