A 62-YEAR-OLD man was killed during a fight with his two young daughters over livestock in Bulwer on Tuesday evening.

It is alleged that the man from the Thonsini area tried to stab his two daughters, who are 22 and18 years old, with a spear before they overpowered him.

They then allegedly use the same weapon to stab him in the head and lower right arm.

He died of his injuries.

Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Joey Jeevan said the man was fighting with his daughters over the herding of cattle.

She said the daughters are expected to appear in court shortly after they were arrested at the scene.
