Festival set to paint Duban pink

THE Pietermaritzburg Gay and Lesbian Network is set to paint Durban pink on Saturday, December 18, when the annual Mr and Ms Gay KZN beauty pageant takes place at the BAT centre in Durban.

The Pink Mynah festival kicks off with a week of workshops, film shows and book launches in Pietermaritzburg, and culminates in the Pink Parade down Florida Road on the Saturday morning.The crowning of Ms Gay KZN takes place in the evening.

Tickets are available for R150 per person, which includes a goodies bag.

Entry forms for the pageant can be downloaded from the network website. Preliminary judging takes place in Durban this weekend and in Pietermaritzburg on November 27.
