2011-03-29 00:00

CRESTON College hosted its first Champs gala on Thursday. The gala was designed to allow swimmers an extra chance to swim against the clock and to swim longer races that they don’t get a chance to swim unless they go through the Midlands and KZN process. A very successful evening was had with some excellent swimming. The school thanked Port Shepstone High School for joining them and giving their swimmers some extra and healthy competition.

On Saturday, Creston’s U13 boys’ and girls’ hockey teams played their first games of the winter season. The girls’ results were as follows:

vs Grantleigh (1-1), vs Brebner (0-2) and vs Hatfield (2-1). Boys’ results were as follows: played Grantleigh twice, losing (0-1) and winning (2-1).
