First lady of Oshabeni nation to be buried on Saturday

THE Oshaba Tribal Authority will bury Duduzile Lushaba, a former councillor and wife of inkosi ­Ziwengu Lushaba, on Saturday.

She died on February 4 after a long illness.

She became an Inkatha Freedom Party councillor for the Ugu Regional Council in 1996 and was on the Turton standing committee in Umzumbe.

She was elected ward four councillor of the Oshabeni area in 2000 and later as Hibiscus Coast Municipality IFP councillor, a spokesperson from the authority said. She served on the council from 2006 to 2011.

The funeral will begin at 9 am at the Oshabeni Tribal Authority.
