Fraud: City Police search for suspect

POLICE are looking for Sharon Nontsikelelo Khoza in connection with fraud committed in the city.

Police spokesperson Joey Jeevan said it was alleged that Khoza committed identity fraud in August last year in a shop in a Pietermaritzburg mall in order to get a cellphone contract.

“She was later arrested and granted bail. On October 19, 2012, she was expected to make a court appearance on a charge of fraud, however, she absconded trial,” said Jeevan.

She said it was believed that Khoza was from Berea in Johannesburg.

She appealed to anyone with informations to contact Detective Warrant Officer Clive van Wyk at 033 845 2753, or 071 350 4494.
