Fraud case: Cops on the lookout

2012-10-26 00:00

PIETERMARITZBURG police are looking for Nathi Bhengu (pictured), who they believe can assist in a fraud case.

A local man lost R45 000 after he responded to an advert in a newspaper about a car that was for sale. Police believe Bhengu can assist them with information regarding the incident.

“After an agreement between the victim and the suspect, the money was deposited into the suspect’s bank account. However, the vehicle was never delivered and the suspect was never heard of again,” said police spokesperson Lieutenant Joey Jeevan.

Anyone who knows where Bhengu is should contact Lieutenant-Colonel Narash Nandhlal on 033 845 2731 or 079 696 3712.
