COMEDIAN Sifiso Nene will be raising the roof to see in the new year when he performs at the PMB Comedy night at Alexandra Park Cricket Oval tonight.
The comedian’s brand of humour saw him walk away with the crown on SABC1’s So You Think You’re Funny show in 2009.
“They should bring their tissues because they will be crying non-stop, I will make sure that they release stress and start the year without stress,” Nene said.
He said this would be his second performance in Pietermaritzburg.
Also on stage will be Simphiwe Shembe, a 2011 South African Traditional Music Award winner.
Event organiser Mbongeni Zondi said: “DJ Didzi and DJ 2nd Prince will provide entertainment after the comedy as part of a chill-out session …”
