Gagasi’s Kesaris in high spirits

2014-10-07 00:00

GAGASI FM’s new programmes manager was excited his appointment had come while they were reviewing their business environment.

Mimi Kesaris has been acting in the position since March after Vukile Zondi was appointed station managing director.

A former club DJ, Kesaris joined the then-P4 Radio station in 1998 as a presenter. He was appointed music compiler in 1999 and music manager in 2000. He is the station’s longest-serving manager, having been part of the transition from P4 Radio to Gagasi FM in 2006.

Kesaris was grateful for the confidence shown in his abilities.

“It’s a challenging space to be in when you consider over the past three years the station has been stable around the 1, 8 million listeners’ mark.”
