Gasele aiming for nationals

2011-04-25 00:00

LAST week Port Shepstone High School school competed in the district round of the prestigious Young Communicators Award public speaking competition.

Sheppie High was represented by a Grade 11 Oratory Society learner, Avuyile Gasele.

Avuyile won the district round of the competition and will subsequently represent Port Shepstone High School and the UGU district in the provincial round taking place at the Legislature Building in Pietermaritzburg at the end of this month (Saturday April 30).

Avuyile has big shoes fill as the Port Shepstone High School’s Oratory Society has been able to have a national representative each year for the last four years.
