Get inked for a free cup of coffee at Wimpy on voting day

2014-04-25 00:00

FASTFOOD outlet Wimpy has beaten its competitors in the queue to get a voting gimmick out into the public domain.

They yesterday released a statement saying Wimpy outlets nationwide will offer a free cup of coffee to every person who comes in on voting day on May 7 with an inked thumb.

This is to thank South Africans “for supporting election day by exercising their right to vote”.

“We are proud of our nation and this is our way of celebrating this significant milestone with the whole of our country,” said Charmaine Ellis, marketing executive at Wimpy.
