• Westmore Park Club hosts Cort Marshall, a classic rock band performing live. Inquiries: 079 525 9649.

• Karaoke at Stagecoach with Delwyn every Friday from 7 pm until 10 pm.

• Rockafellas hosts karaoke with Gary and Jen, from 6 pm to 10 pm.



• Unstoppable presents Mesmerized (Unstoppable Castle Lite Experience) at Pure Lounge, St George’s — a night filled with flashing lights, angels, bottle poppin’, happy hour, and a great line-up, including musicians, DJs and live bands. Starts at 7 pm. Inquiries: 082 838 8162.

• Jammo will be performing live at Mountain View country pub after the Sharks game.

• Calsey’s presents a party hosted by DJ Doug after the Sharks game, specialising in music from the 80s and 90s until now. Braai fires will be available. Take your own meat.

• The lunch-hour concert at Howard College Theatre on Monday presents contemporary chamber music compiled by David Plylar, the project coordinator for New Music with the KZN Philharmonic Orchestra. The contemporary pieces, by Moerane-Blake, Hendrik Hofmeyer, Plylar and Hannah Lash will be performed by David Plylar (piano), Allison Lowell (oboe), David Cohen (clarinet), Violeta Osorhean and David Snaith (viola). The concert is from 12.15 pm to 1 pm and entrance is free. Inquiries: 031 260 3353.



• The MMC is proud to bring the Hairy Legged Lentil Eaters to the Red Door, supported by Terence Hatting. Entrance is R30. The evening starts at 8 pm.

• All That’s Jazz. Every Thursday night from 8 pm, the Red Door brings jazz recordings with DJ Cliffbert spinning the tunes from his collection. Some great classics from pulsating African Jazz rhythms to technical contemporaries will spice up the evening with a bit of soul, funk and blues. Entrance is free until 9 pm, thereafter R15.
