• Cliffy’s Live Music Pub hosts The Rock Vibe with Jammo, from 7 pm until late.

• All-female jazz band Heels over Head from Durban will perform a Valentine’s Day show at The Jazzy Rainbow, Goble Road, Durban. Doors open at 7 pm, and the entrance fee is R50. For more information, phone 031 7111 524.

• Rock Bottom Pub and Grill in Umzumbe will be celebrating Valentine’s Day this Sunday — a double celebration as it will be celebrating the birthday of music legend David Marks. • The band Too Close, in conjunction with King Shaka International Airport, presents a Valentine’s Day with a difference! Join in at the airport at the News Cafe/Mugg and Bean Restaurant area from 6 pm to 10 pm. Parking is free from 6 pm to midnight. Take your dancing shoes.

• February 17 to February 19: Award-winning performer Godfrey Johnson returns to Durban at the Rhumbelow Theatre with two great shows, The Songs of Noel Coward and Jacques Brel, and The Jukebox Favourites.

• February 25: Rewind 80s Music Festival comes to Durban, featuring ABC, Midge Ure, Marc Almond, Howard Jones, Go West and the Village People.

• March 4: Goldfish perform live at the PMB Botanical Gardens, back by popular demand. The event is scheduled to take place from 10 am to 6 pm. Food and drinks will be available. No food or drinks allowed to be brought in. Tickets are available at for R120, or from Franki Bananaz, Butcher Boys and Crowded House staff for R100.

• March 6: The band Jesus Culture will be performing at CityHill Church in Durban, as part of the band’s nationwide tour. Tickets are R150.

• March 7: Usher to headline the Hansa Festival of Legends Tour at the ICC Durban Arena. Tickets are R250 to R450, and can be bought at www.­

• March 9: RAMfest takes place around the country, and arrives in Durban at Origin Night Club. The line-up includes Netsky, Niskerone, Hyphen, SFR and many more. Tickets are R120. Inquiries:
