Headlining the night are Durban hardcore pioneers Crossingpoint, currently preparing to release their second album which is being mixed and mastered in NYC. New Altum is a post hardcore experimental alternative rock band born in April 2005.

December 31. The famous Florida Road New Year’s Eve bash is back. The party will offer varied entertainment in a safe and contained environment. The main stage opens at 7.30 pm with music from the sixties, seventies and eighties. This is followed at 10 pm by a fashion spectacular, hosted by Models International, featuring Max Fashion, Zuloe and eSquared with music by top Durban DJs. At 11 pm, get ready to dance to “Top 40” hits which will keep you rocking through the count down to 2008. The street party continues until around 2 am. February 20. Music diva Celine Dion is heading for South Africa to initiate her world tour in 2008. Dion has been performing for the last five years in Las Vegas, where her contract finishes on December 15. March 16. Josh Groban will be performing at Greyville Racecourse in Durban. “I’m especially excited about finally returning to South Africa, I feel like my fans are ready to come on a journey with me. South Africa is very dear to me and I have never forgotten the spirit and passion shown to me on my last visit. “This remains one of my greatest memories of my tour around the world.” Groban’s new album — Noel — is now avilable in South Africa, and is a collection of Christmas music featuring duets with Faith Hill and Brian McKnight and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.
