• The Jackie Horner Pub and Grill in ­Glenwood hosts Collin Rule performing laid-back hits from 7 pm to 9 pm.

• The Heritage Theatre (Hillcrest) pays tribute to rock ’n roller Buddy Holly in the ­musical Buddy and Friends starring Andrew Webster, John Didlick and Barry Thomson. • The Firkin and Ferret hosts sundowners on the deck, chilled deep-house grooves from the DJs and special guest DJ Funky G who will be putting out his hip-hop, R & B and house sounds. Free entry from 2 pm until 4 pm (children welcome), R20 from 4 pm until 7 pm — over 18s only (free sundowner on arrival). R40 from 7 pm until late (free sundowner on arrival, if still available or on sale). • Native Blues, a six-piece male a-cappella group, whose music harks back to the days when men would meet on street corners or in a back room to rehearse and perfect their close harmony singing, performs at the Howard College Theatre from 12.15 pm to 1 pm. • The El Sombrero Spur at Scottsville ­invites you to live music on Tuesday with singer and guitarist Jammo.



• Xolisa Dlamini (jazz vocalist) will perform with backing vocalists and Sphe Mngwengwe (piano), Bheka Mthethwa (bass) and Paki Peloeole (drums) at the Centre for Jazz and Popular Music, UKZN Durban, on March 3 from 5.30 pm to 7 pm. Tickets R20 (R10 students). Inquiries: Mandy at 031 260 3353.
