• Watershed, WONDERboom, The City Bowl Mizers and the Ryan Calder Band are in the line-up at this year’s Royal Rock Concert at the Royal Show. The music begins at 6 pm.

• Black Moss and Friends host Drumkit, T.H.O.T.S., DJ Abu and Alpha at the Zulu Jazz Lounge. Tickets are R30 prebooked (073 936 7248) or R50 at the door. Performances start at 10.30 pm. Women have free entry before 10 pm.

• Jazzology in concert, featuring guest artist Alec Brits on drums, Jeff Judge on keyboard, Jonathan Judge on sax and ­Logan Byrne on bass. The evening takes place at 6.30 pm for 7 pm in the Band Room at St Anne’s Diocesan College. R50 per person. Snacks will be provided and a cash bar will be open.
