Good night for PMB ad exec

2007-11-18 00:00

Butler put in the highest bid of R23 000, to go home with the auction's loot.

Up for auction were a full page colour advertisement and a sea cruise.

PCB CEO Andrew Layman noted that Butler, who established Xposure in 2002 in a partnership with his brother Don, utilised an enthusiastic urgency in forming the holding company XCom.

In November last year, The Witness reported that Xposure had secured a sought-after contract with the auto-manufacturer Kia Motors to produce national advertisements for the company.

The city-based national ad-agency has developed a full production facility within Pietermaritzburg, allowing staff to conduct television advertisements from the conceptual stage through to the production stage.

It also has Johannesburg and Richards Bay offices, and is due to open in Brisbane, Australia, in February 2008.

The banquet was sponsored by Nedbank Business Banking in association with The Witness.
