DESPITE his national fame, Mtwalume gospel artist S’fiso Ncwane has not forgotten his roots and local support.

Ncwane has dedicated his recent South African Traditional Music Award (Satma) to Radio Sunny South in Oslo Beach on the South Coast.

He received a platinum award for his ninth album Baba Ngiyavuma, which he presented to Radio Sunny South’s gospel music presenter, Mduduzi Madlala, and breakfast show host Sanele Ndwalane.

Madlala said the local musician has grown nationally and internationally, and the station was honoured to receive the award.
