GO GREEN, GET INVOLVED … re*think “It’s Your World”.

The re*think schools’ exhibition is set to take place on October 19 to 23 at the Liberty Midlands Mall.

Since the end of September, Liberty Midlands Mall and The Witness have invited all schools in and around the city to “renew, reduce and recycle” by entering the competition through creating works from recycled material. This year’s theme is “It’s Your World”.

The winning schools have a chance to win shopping vouchers to the value of R5 000, with compliments from Liberty Midlands Mall.

The innovative re*think project is now in its second year and its focus is on informing and educating the community about global warming, climate change and the effects on our environment, while mobilising support for reducing our carbon footprint through reducing, re-using and recycling waste.

The public is encouraged to participate by voting for their favourite artwork, which will be on display at the Liberty Mall on the above dates.

The voting forms will be in The Witness on the days of the exhibition, and all you have to do is cut out the voting form, fill in your details, choose your favourite artwork and drop it off at the Mall.

One lucky shopper stands a chance to win Liberty Midlands shopping vouchers to the value of R1 000.
