Hexagon Theatre Minifest: Mouche

2008-02-29 00:00

Mouche is a story of a young girl – who isn’t really there. It’s a story of love, hate, and suicidal puppets. Mouche is based on Paul Gallico's Love of Seven Dolls and has been adapted by Laine Cole. Tim Redpath is joined on stage by a series of puppets as he nimbly tells the story of love found in a '50s traveling circus in Paris between a sad and lonely puppeteer and a girl who isn't there.

Intelligent, witty and moving, the show is gaining an enthusiastic following and Redpath is a performer who is making waves amongst theatre makers in South Africa.

Mouche shows at the Hexagon Theatre Minifest at 10.30am and 6.30 pm on March 15.
