Hilton art exhibition

2009-11-17 00:00

VISITORS to the Hilton College theatre complex will be able to view artist Brent Dodd’s solo exhibition in the Normand Dunn Gallery from November 26 to 28.

Born in Zimbabwe in 1978, Dodd studied art at Rhodes University, and has since had successful exhibitions in South America, San Francisco, central Africa and South Africa. In this exhibition his works reveal close observation of the human form at work, the dormant life of steam locomotion, and the changing seasons of the African continent.

Dodd, who has painted and taught art at Hilton College since 2000, leaves the school at the end of the year to travel and paint in central Africa.
