Hockey: Level two coaching course next month

THE KwaZulu-Natal Inland Hockey Association will be holding a Level Two coaching course from November 8 to 11.

Applicants are required to e-mail or hand deliver a hockey-specific CV to or to the KZN Inland hockey office in Princess Margaret Drive by no later than October 31.

Applicants must be in possession of a Level One coaching accreditation, completed prior to 2012, or have coached at provincial level for two years.

The course will consist of a practical and theory topic to be presented by the applicant, and will be conducted by Investec South Africa women’s hockey team assistant coach Fabian Gregory, as well as guest presenters.

The course will be full day with group work during the evenings, and participants must attend all sessions.

Meanwhile, the KZN Inland Hockey Association are once again hosting the Pre-season Indoor Hockey Festival from November 23 to 25. Local teams as well as teams from outside the province will be participating, and KZN Inland administration manager Kathy Pascoe can be contacted at for more details.
