EMOTIONAL stories of family reunions and making amends for past hurts and forgiveness come together in the reality show Forgive & Forget, which returns to for a fourth season at 9 pm tomorrow.

Host Doris Msibi presents the series, which aims to help South Africans mend their broken relationships by seeking forgiveness and showing them that while they can’t undo what they’ve already done, they can take the first step towards making amends by reaching out to those they’ve wronged.

In tomorrow night’s first episode, Nomthandazo wants to reunite her father and aunt, who have not spoken to each other since a family dispute in 2007.

Other highlights this week:


• The Closer — M-Net Action (DStv channel 106), 7 pm: Kyra Sedgwick returns as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson, who heads a special police unit that solves sensitive, high-profile murder cases.

• The Amazing Race — SABC3, 8 pm: The race is in full swing, and already the teams are starting to make simple mistakes, from misreading clues to blindly following their competition.

• Supernatural — SABC3, 10.15 pm: Sam and Dean go after demons targeting mothers and their children. While on the hunt, Dean runs into Lisa, a woman from his past, who has a son that reminds Dean of himself at that age. Also on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.


• Special Assignment: Nuclear Industry Debates — SABC3, 8.31 pm: As the debate rages on about which sustainable energy solution is best for South Africa, the nuclear industry has gone on an offensive to defend what it calls misrepresentations by the media and civil society.


• Fix My Biz —, 5.30 pm: Viewers get a chance to know Dave Peer, the owner of Urban Dive in Johannesburg, who is struggling to get customers through the door.

• So You Think You Can Dance (South Africa) : Results Show — SABC1, 7 pm: The next two dancers to receive their marching orders are revealed.

• Heroes — SABC3, 9.01 pm: After the events of the previous year, the Heroes all set out to start new lives: Claire goes to college, Ando and Hiro start a Hero-for-hire agency, Peter becomes an emergency medical technician, and Matt reunites with his wife and child. Standing in the way of their plans is a mysterious carnival owner on a quest of his own.


• SA’s Got Talent — SABC2, 7.30 pm: The search for South Africa’s best singers, dancers, acrobats and more continues tonight.

• Moulin Rouge —, 8.30 pm: A passionate and ultimately tragic love affair set against the backdrop of the fantastical world of Paris nightlife. Stars Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor.
