FANS of the reality show Voetspore will be pleased to know the show is back on SABC2 on Fridays at 6 pm.

The journey began last year when the team, consisting of six guys, travelled from Gansbaai to Gabon. This year Johan Badenhorst leads them as they travel from Casablanca to the Cape along the western side of the African continent, through the Sahara, the rain forests of Central Africa, and the lesser-known areas of southern Africa. Along the way they will visit cities like Fez, Oudane, Timbuktu, Agadez, Kano, Limbe and Franceville.

Don’t miss this fascinating new series.

Other highlights this week:

• Motswako (SABC2 today at 9.30 pm): Profile of DJs Lady D from Ukhozi FM and Thuli Baby from Lesedi FM.

• 3rd Degree (, tomorrow at 9.30 pm): The debacle around Caster Semenya has thrown the plight of people born with both male and female sex organs into the spotlight. 3rd Degree talks to two intersexed people from Khayelitsha about being bullied, teased and marginalised their entire lives.

• Pasella (SABC2, Wednesday, 7.30 pm): Popular 7de Laan actress Melanie du Bois, who has been playing Felicity for nine years, is profiled on this week’s programme. She and her and husband, Regi, added a little girl to the family two years ago following traumatic treatment, a lot of prayer and disappointment.

• The Late Show with David Letterman (SET – DStv channel 113, Thursday at 10 pm): In the first appearance on the Late Show by a sitting U.S. president, Barack Obama discusses his controversial health care reform policy, racism in America and the country’s ongoing involvement in the Afghan war. — Arts Editor.
