THE Oscar-nominated film Doubt can be seen on M-Net at 9.30 pm tonight as part of the channel’s Academy Awards celebration.

Meryl Streep, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Amy Adams and Viola Davis star in this drama about a puritanical nun who takes a liberal priest to task about his relationship with a troubled altar boy.

Other highlights include:


• Way of the Warrior – M-Net Action, 6 pm: This week’s episode covers the auditions in Durban and Johannesburg.

• Shooting Stars –, 9 pm: This drama series follows soccer player Wandile Dlomo (Motlatsi Mafatshe) as he pursues his dream of representing his country.


• Ugly Betty – M-Net, 7.30 pm: Series four starts tonight. Betty finds that everything is changing as she begins her new job as associate features editor, especially since her boss is her ex-boyfriend, Matt Hartley.

• 4Play – 9 pm, Noma has to let an ugly old dress go but it holds sentimental value; Nox is scouting for a band to perform at her daughter’s party.


• Playa –, 9.30 pm: The show includes an interview with Bafana Bafana legend Neil Tovey and a look at the history of Ajax.

• Without A Trace – SABC2, 10 pm: The FBI investigators deal with the aftermath of a shooting during which Martin Fitzgerald and Danny Taylor were injured.


• Home Affairs – SABC2, 8.30 pm: Vuyo confesses to her mother about the trauma she faced.

• Jacob’s Cross – SABC2, 9.30 pm: Jacob knows that Femi’s actions have angered two enemies, and in Lagos, Andile comes face to face with his daughter’s killers.
