IF you love a bit of real-life drama, then make sure you tune in to the second season of The Real Housewives of Orange County on SABC3 tomorrow evening at 5.35 pm.

The series starts with Slade struggling to cope with jealousy as a result of Jo’s partying and Lauri ecstatic after meeting George, the man of her dreams.

Vicki, meanwhile, attempts to teach her son Michael real-world values; Jeana deals with her son Shane’s back injury; Kimberly leaves Coto after a skin cancer scare; and new housewife Tammy Knickerbocker joins the group. Other highlights this week:


• 3 Talk — SABC3, 3.30 pm: Today’s show features famous Hollywood cosmetic surgeon Dr Robert Rey (of Dr 90210-fame). Tune in to find out the latest in the world of cosmetic surgery. If you miss him today, make sure you watch Expresso on Wednesday on SABC3 when he’ll be making another appearance on our television screens.

• Grey’s Anatomy — M-Net, 7.30 pm: Derek receives an unexpected and unwelcome visit from his estranged sister, Amelia; and Chief Webber tries to help Alex when he notices he won’t use the lifts after his near-fatal shooting.


• Special Assignment: A Time To Die — SABC3: Death is something no human being or society feels comfortable about, so what do you do when a loved one begs you to assist them in dying? This is what Professor Sean Davison was faced with when his mother, a doctor, was diagnosed with cancer and later went on a 30-day hunger strike to end her life.

• CSI — M-Net, 8.30 pm: The CSI team helps Dr Langston investigate a prostitution ring that may have harboured a hostage he went searching for in Miami and New York. The episode is the final part of a three-part storyline that involved all three CSI franchises – Las Vegas, Miami and New York.

• Don’t Tell The Bride — BBC Lifestyle (DStv channel 180), 9.25 pm: Six more grooms face the challenge of organising the perfect day for their brides … But there’s a catch — they can’t see each other for the month leading up to the nuptials, and the groom has to plan the whole wedding in secret.


• Hola Ha Monate — SABC2, 11.30 pm: Candy Moloi and Matthew Monica present this series aimed at the elderly. Today’s topic is Alzheimer’s and dementia — a collective name for conditions in which progressive degeneration of the brain affects memory, thinking, behaviour and emotion.

• Top Ten at 10: My Life in Music — Mzansi Magic (DStv channel 107), 10 pm: He is known as the strict no-nonsense Commissioner of the South African Police Service, but T-Bose uncovers the softer side of General Bheki Cele tonight. He also lets viewers in on how many hats he owns, who actually dresses him and his thoughts on the South Africa’s crime rate.


• Crossing Over — M-Net, 9.30 pm: Harrison Ford stars in this film about immigrants of different nationalities struggling to achieve legal status in Los Angeles.
