Howick: Veness talk on tourism

THE former Director of Pietermaritzburg Tourism, Melanie Veness, will be one of the speakers at this evening’s meeting at the Howick Falls Hotel to establish a new community tourism organisation for Howick and the Midlands.

The Howick-uMngeni Community Tourism Organisation has already been officially recognised by the uMngeni Municipality.

Other speakers at the public meeting, which starts at 6 pm this evening, will be representatives of Tourism KwaZulu-Natal and the Friends of the Falls tourism ambassadors.
