THREE men will appear in court again today in connection with housebreaking and robbery charges, following two attacks in the space of three days on an elderly Scottsville resident.

In one incident the 84-year-old victim was in the company of her 54-year-old neighbour, who was also robbed.

In court on Friday in connection with the incidents, which occurred on July 28 and again on July 31, at the same address, were Sanele Mazibuko (23), Wiseman Duma (21) and Delani Maphanga (22). The three were remanded in custody pending further investigations. It is alleged they threatened their victims with a spade and knives and took a variety of goods, including jewellery.
