Jogger stabbing: Police need help in bulwer RD case

PIETERMARITZBURG police are appealing to anyone who might have information on the murder of Abas Imitiaz Nabee (31), who was stabbed to death in September. He was jogging along Bulwer Street when he was attacked and robbed of his clothing.

He was stabbed repeatedly with a sharp object and dumped in bushes next to the road. Police spokesperson Lieutenant Joey Jeevan said a passer-by on his way to work found Nabee lying in the bushes and called the emergency services.

He died of his injuries a city hospital. Anyone with information should contact investigating officer Warrant Officer Clive van Wyk on 033 845 2753 or 082 555 4262.
