KZN Coastals hockey teams announced

2013-06-18 00:00

THE KZN Coastals hockey teams for the upcoming Interprovincial tournaments were announced recently. Northwood, the top KZN side, has six players in the U18A, but it is Kearsney that dominates the selections in all age groups.

Glenwood and Northwood each have seven players in the U18 followed by Westville with five. In the U16 teams, Kearsney have 11 selections, followed by Westville with seven and Glenwood with five. In the U14 age group, Kearsney again dominates with eight players followed by Glenwood with seven and Westville with five.

This does indicate that Kearsney could well be back at the top of hockey in the Coastal region over the next few years.
