KZN duo to sing their hearts out for ‘Idols’ glory

2014-10-25 00:00

KZN’s singing superstars Vincent Bones and Kyle Deutschmann are cranking up their vocal talents for tomorrow’s SA Idols live shows.

Idols fans will be glued to the television tomorrow in anticipation of what is expected to be “the most nail-biting performances in the entire season”.

With all the top finalists gunning for top spot, Weekend Witness got a chance to speak to our very own KZN boys about their experiences thus far and their thoughts on tomorrow.

Durban’s Kyle Deutschmann (27) had just come off the rehearsal stage before he was interviewed. He said he’s trying his best during rehearsals and that his experience on Idols so far has been “incredible”.

“It’s just so hard to judge how many fans we have out in KZN because we’re so far away. It’s been an extraordinary journey so far. I would just like to say that I feel the love from all my fans and they are the reason I’m doing this,” the out-of-breath Deutschmann said.

Pietermaritzburg’s Vincent Bones (29) said he will be singing One Republic’s Apologize and Rob Thomas’ Smooth.

“I’m really amped up for Sunday because I’ve got two really great songs. Idols thus far has been a great experience that has changed my life. I’ll never regret it even though there’s a lot of pressure,” Bones said.

They both described the difficulty of being without their families and loved ones for months on end.
