2012-10-23 00:00

AT LEAST one death has been recorded near Nongoma after severe weekend thunderstorms ravaged parts of the province.

Department MEC Nomusa Dube said in a statement “our teams have been dispatched to all the affected areas so that we can provide rescue and clean-up services to our vulnerable communities”. Other problem areas in northern KwaZulu-Natal include Nqutu, where three people were reported missing. They are believed to have been swept away by the Ngchibide River.
