THE Royal Wedding had guests from all over the world in attendance, including a KwaZulu-Natal pilot. Underberg resident Charlie Strachan attended the wedding in England as reported by The Witness this week.

While Charlie was attending the nuptials, The Witness spoke to his brother, Kelvin, who was watching the event on TV with his staff.

“It was wonderful,” he said of the ceremony.

Kelvin, who was keeping a lookout for his brother on TV, said: “I think I saw him early this morning, around 9 am.”

The Strachans’ mother, grandmother and aunts were also watching the wedding.

Charlie, who works for Kenya-based Tropic Air, was invited to the wedding after befriending the prince two years ago while hiking in Kenya. William proposed to Kate Middleton on Mount Kenya in October last year. — Weekend Witness Reporter.
