Kloof give good account

CLIFTON College hosted a rugby sevens tournament at the weekend, with many schools competing at what is fast becoming a popular version of the game.

With the Blitsbokke having taken gold at the Commonwealth Games, the game has reached a new audience and schools are swiftly coming on board.

Kloof High School’s team gave a good account of themselves by winning the Bowl section.

Along the way they were victorious against St Henry’s 32-12, Ashton College 24-12, Northwood 21-12 and Hilton 21-12. They unfortunately came unstuck against Kearsney 12-28 and had a narrow 14-17 loss to Westville who were the eventual winners of the tournament.
