2013-11-08 00:00

A FOURTH suspect yesterday appeared at the Himeville Magistrate’s Court for the murder of timber contractor Daniel Knight.

Happy Gcina (24) from Nkwezela in the Bulwer area made a brief appearance and was remanded in custody.

Gcina will be joining his co-accused Tsepiso Sthembiso Ramanyane (20), Bonginkosi Eric Nyawose (33), who are from Bulwer, and Thabo Dlamini (22) from Himeville, at their bail application on Wednesday next week.

They are facing a murder charge and robbery with aggravating circumstances for taking property of Knight’s valued at R651 000.

Knight was beaten to death on October 17. The men allegedly used a hammer to assault Knight as his partner Beth Bucher was forced to watch.
