KwaMashu: three men shot, fourth critical

THREE men were shot and killed in kwaMashu, Durban, in the early hours of yesterday morning, while a fourth critically injured victim was treated on the scene and taken to hospital.

Provincial police spokesperson Colonel Vincent Mdunge said the men, aged between 27 and 32, were killed in an open space near a railway line.

He said the men sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the body from what appears to be handguns. Mdun-ge said a motive for the killing, whether the men, who have not been identified, were in a group or how they got to the area is not known. — WR.
