KwaZulu-Natal teams for national weeks announced

ALL the KZN Coastal cricket teams have been announced to play in the various national weeks in December.

Players in the U19, U17 and U15 come mainly from four schools. Kearsney has nine players in the three teams, Glenwood has eight and there are seven each from Westville and Durban High School.

In the U13 age group most players have been selected from Durban Preparatory High School. In the girls’ U19 there are two players from each of Felixton and Kloof. An U17 Rural team will also represent the KZN Coastal region.

The first weeks start on Decem- ber 10 in Kimberley, Bloemfontein and Vereeniging where the girls’ U19, U17 and U17 Rural weeks respectively will be held. The U13 week takes place in East London from December 11 and the U15 week follows on December 13 in Benoni.

The Coca-Cola Khaya Majola­ Week for the U19 boys takes place  in  Cape Town  from  December 15 to December 20.

This culminates with the selection of the SA Schools’ team.
