THE Acting MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison Dr Sibongiseni Dhlomo has condemned the latest shooting in the Estcourt area that left three people dead.

Phakamani Ndlovu (29), Luyanda Dlamini (9) and Nhlanhla Khumalo (29) were shot by an unknown gunman in their home at VQ Section, Wembezi, on Sunday evening.

They were dead on arrival at hospital.

Dhlomo said anyone who may have information that may lead to an arrest should contact the police.

“We are shocked and disturbed by this attack at Wembezi,” said Dhlomo.

“There is nothing that will ever be achieved through violence in our community.

“Our work as the department to bring peace at Wembezi will not be deterred by such incidents.”
