Man re-arrested after release on bail

2014-08-04 00:00

A FORMER manager from Howick charged with theft from his employer, was in tears outside court on Friday as he was re-arrested by Limpopo police.

Andre van der Watt, who is accused of stealing R25 000 from Security Superstore, was granted bail on Friday, but this proved to be a very short reprieve. He had barely exited the Howick Magistrate’s Court when he was stopped in his tracks by police officers from Limpopo, a warrant for his arrest in hand.

He was in tears as police took him to the police car parked outside the court. A source close to investigation said he was investigated for a similar offence committed in Bela Bela. — WR.
