Man stabbed in barber’s tent

A MAN died after being stabbed in the head while having his hair cut in Richmond on Wednesday.

Police said the 20-year-old Mthokozisi Magoso was stabbed twice in the head while in a barber’s tent in the Richmond CBD.

Warrant Officer Joey Jeevan said two unknown men entered the tent.

“One of the men immediately produced a knife and stabbed Magoso twice in the back of his head, seriously wounding him. Both the suspects then fled from the scene on foot.”

Magoso was rushed to the Richmond Clinic by the owner of the hair salon, where he died.

Police are appealing to anyone with information regarding the incident to contact the investigating officer Detective Constable Sifiso Sithole on 033 212 9458 or 083 732 0584.
